• Farm/Home Fresh Milled Organic Local Wheat

We believe in using minimally processed, whole ingredients in everything we bake. That’s why we prefer using freshly milled, pesticide free, locally grown wheat over store-bought flour.

  • Always Grass-Fed Dairy/ European Butter

If a product contains dairy, we use only grass-fed milk and cream.

For butter, we exclusively use high-fat European-style butter for its richness and superior flavor.

  • We Don`t Cut Corners

We locally supply, mix, ferment, and bake the way it’s been done for centuries.

Every loaf begins with the earth: honest grain, clean ingredients, and a slow, intentional process.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Our long fermentation process breaks down much of the gluten and carbohydrates, making our treats easier to digest - but it is not gluten free.

Are you organic?

Yes. All of our flour is freshly-milled - either by local farms or right here in our bakery. Also, if we need to use dairy, we only use Grass-Fed dairy products and Grass Fed European Butter. Lastly, we are completely see oil free bakery.

Do you use commercial yeast?

No. Our bread is naturally leavened using wild sourdough culture only - no commercial yeast, ever.

What is the best way to eat sourdough bread?

Sourdough is best enjoyed fresh on the day it is baked - plain, with butter, or dipped in extra virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar. For days older breads, we recommend to toast every slice before you enjoy to bring back it`s freshness. Just don`t store it in the fridge - it is better wrapped in a cloth or paper bag at room temperature.

Do you offer shipping or delivery?

We don’t offer shipping or delivery at this time, but we hope to expand as we grow.

Why are your prices higher than other sourdough bakers?

We use only the highest quality ingredients — freshly milled organic flours, grass-fed dairy, and European-style butter. We source directly from local farmers and producers, which costs more than buying from commercial suppliers like Costco or Sam’s Club. But this is the only way we can ensure our bread is fresher, healthier, and free from chemicals and additives.
It costs more to do it this way — but we believe it’s worth it.

Life happens — if you can’t make your pickup, just let us know. We’ll do our best to hold your order for a short time or work out an alternative pickup, depending on the product. Keep in mind, our goods are freshest on pickup day, but we’ll help however we can.
